Fashion Forward

Lately I’ve been loving the trend of having cropped tops and dresses with beautiful unique cutouts. It makes a simple piece into a statement, which is why I’m loving the outfit I put together below.

-A beautiful burgundy dress with unique cutouts around the chest area adds a daring touch. Adding a small simple clutch adds an accessory without taking the attention away from the dress. You can go traditional with black peep toe platforms or change It up with a crème, pink toned, nude platform. Having cutouts like this makes it easy to keep things simple as they sort of are your accessory.

Girly Edge

With style, comes crossroads.

More than usual, people, including myself, will be stuck between two different fashions for the day. I often want to achieve a very soft, girly, colorful, and floral look. Yet, at the same time, I want the leather pants, and biker jackets, with studs.

Well, I figured, why not incorporate both?

-Having a simple black cropped top with small cutouts gives you some edge; and adding a somewhat coral pink skater skirt, gives you that girly pop of color. Going along with the edgy theme, I added some Jeffrey Campbell’s, which scream edge.

-I always wear watches, so I threw in a golden tone watch, which complements the chunky gold chain. Some golden twist earrings and a black wrap bracelet finishes off the look.

-Grab some shades, and you are out the door.

Fun and Flowy

Countless times, I’ve gone and purchased very pretty flattering yet simple dresses.  But when it comes to wearing them, I often feel that it’s to simple and bland with just the dress alone.

Below you will see a cute, yet simple, lightly floral patterned dress. To give it a little push, I added a very girly lace print vest, and a clutch like, over the shoulder, two toned purse.

For some height, there are some strappy brown wedged heels, a little on the higher end of price point, so if heels or money aren’t your kind of thing, then you can also pair it with a way more reasonable prize Oxford flat.

Having  a half up half down wavy hair look, adds to the simplicity of the outfit without being so plain.

Fashion Genius- School Girl Rebel

So, everyone knows that when it comes to school, preferably high-school or college, you try to find yourself, change-up your image.
Having a bad girl vibe was something I always admired and wanted but I wasn’t sure how to do that without wearing all black and leather.
Below, an outfit I created to show you just how to rock that all black and leather with a hint of color.
